Chad Church is Vice President, Client Services for Smith Travel Research (STR, Inc.). STR provides clients from multiple market sectors with premium, global data benchmarking, analytics and marketplace insights. Founded in 1985, STR maintains a presence in 10 countries around the world with a corporate North American headquarters in Hendersonville, Tennessee, and an international headquarters in London, England.
In his role, Mr. Church manages the account management, call center, contracting, special projects and analysis operations at STR. In addition, he is responsible for custom research and analysis for consulting, investment, government and corporate hotel clients. He is a regular speaker at industry meetings and conventions and is a frequent contributor to various media outlets.
Mr. Church earned his Master of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Economics from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina.
